A new integrated system expands ESAB’s portfolio into handheld laser welding, pairing an intuitive user experience with the speed and precision fabricators need.
ESAB is entering the handheld laser welding market with the introduction of the Dueler™ EHL 1500, the company’s first laser welding system. Built for fabricators who need real performance without the setup complexity of traditional laser systems, Dueler integrates a 1,500-watt laser power source, ESAB’s PreciDrive™ wire-feeding technology and a touchscreen interface into a single, air-cooled unit. No external water chiller. No separate components to manage.

On applications where weld appearance, heat management and throughput matter, laser welding has a clear edge. Dueler welds up to four times faster than TIG and up to twice as fast as MIG — and its focused laser beam puts heat exactly where it needs to go, reducing distortion, minimizing burn-through and cutting down on post-weld grinding and cleanup.
